I had a friends mother call me up and ask for a couple cards as she had some siblings that were having their 40th anniversaries this year....one being May 1st she needed it pretty quickly. Now with 40th being ruby the closest I could think of was Burgundy and because she was not going to be mailing this card but giving it to them personally she had asked for a bit larger card than the average standard card.
Since there has been a few occassions lately for me to have to make the little larger cards I find they are getting alot easier to do.
Now as for the card I was rather proud of it and happy with the results....not to sound braggish but I think alot of it is becasue I really do like Bravo Burgundy but do not grab it very often....may need to change that.
I took the opportunity of it being a larger to do a little more decorating inside as well
It is a bit of a sneek peek of a coming embossing folder you will have the opportunity to buy from the Summer mini that is available as of May 1st. After I embossed it I then took the sponge daubers in Burgundy and Artichoke and lightly coloured embossed sections. I used the burgundy marker then to print in the #40 to make the card more personal.
So I hope this has inspired you in some way and that you liked it.
Happy Stamping
