HELLO!!!!!!......I have been MIA but for no other reason other than I have been very busy with some workshops and the prepping for them.

I should follow other demos example and make them the same BUT I must have a short attention span becuause I just can't do it I need to make them different to keep myself entertained...smile.
I guess I know who my kids got it from....giggle

So back to the short attention span well I blieve that it must be linked to my not being patient....so that is why you are getting a sneak peek of one of the cards we will be making at the First Ever Stamp-a-Stack being put on by another dem and myself.  You will get two of this card because we are making 5 different cards and two of each of the 5.

There are to options for this stamp a stack.
#1 Pay $25 and go home with th 10 cards and matching envelopes...this is great for beginnersas most of you are not sure if you are going to get hooked (hee, hee little do YOU know)

#2 Pay $40. and you go home with the 10 cards and matching envelopes BUT you also get to take home the Artistic Etchings set that we are using on all the cards that day.

You need to bring nothing as we are going to supply all the necessities to make them and we will also supply you with a lunch.

It starts at 11:00am and ending time will entirely depend on how many people come.

RSVP is needed by Thursday Feb 10th  so we can have a final head count.

Well here it is I would like to take 100% of the credit , however any of you demos that have been on Stamping Connection will now that a lady named Donna that made the amazing swan card. Well I was in awe and thought why is it that I cannot do that too...so off I went to stare blankly at some of my stuff and then there it as a skirt, so I made a mental note to find the right set to put a dress on.  THEN off to life and before sitting down and creating this card I had to go onto Stamping Connection and there it was the amazing Donna beat me AND she knew the perfect stamp to add it to....the girl from Easter Blessings in the Occassion Mini....aghhhhh.

So needless to say this has now become a CASED card to a degree I did  a whole different layout and I think I did some different colouring but I still cannot take the credit....however I am still really happy about how this card turned out.

I actually am going to a workshop on Thursday and because it is a smaller group of ladies that meet at this workshop we are going to make this one. I hope they all like it as much as I do.

Well I must be off got plans this afternoon and then off to my in laws for a visit...we always try to go IF not once a week at least by the second week we get there for our updates and the chance for the kids to see Grandma and Grandpa.... who doesn't love to see there grandparents.

Good Saturday Morning!!!!!!

I am so happy that the weekend is finally here...it was a hectic week and I was really excited to have all of us (except poor hubby who had to work today) sleep in...yep I am so spoiled to have children that obviously felt it was a hectic week as well and slept in...only to 8:30 but since we are ususally up and on the bus by this time it was so lovely.

So this card was completely inspired by Diana Gibbs she did hers in blues from the Vintage Springtime DP and it was stunning, but well I did not want to copy exactly so I changed the colours and I did not have some of the same accessories as hers so I improvised either way I am still happy with it and thanks for the inspiration Diana....here is her blog address if you would like to be ispired from her as well.

Well they may have let me sleep in I do have a little boy staring up at me with some sad looking blue eyes because he would like to play a game so I shall sign off and I promise to be back tomorrow with a card that I am exceptionally proud of.  Any of you demos that have been on Stampin Connection and were able to view the Swan card that Donna did with the Build a Blossom stmp set and punch well she inspired me to think out the box and unfortunately beat me to the punch and making a dress but I will show you what I came up with ..... tomorrow.

What a Sweetie!!!!!!!!!!

Good Afternoon all of You!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the 4 card that a group of ladies and myself made yesterday afternoon.  I just love these little greeeting card kids...they are all so cute and I really do think that this little girl is my favorite of them all.

So I so badly wanted the pom pom ribbon but I am not a big big fan of the brights so of them all Daffodil Delight is one of my favs and well it was the inspiration for the colours chosen for this particular card.

Now I am off to the scholl to do the crafts with my daughters early years class today and need to be there for right after lunch so I will be going now...sory for the extra short posts lately but well that is how it goes...smile

SO did you think I disappeared yet again????????

Well I did not,  I just was trying to get a bunch of workshops, camps and of course the first ever stamp a stack all prepared and out of the way that I knew what I was doing, what I still needed etc.

Now here is the funniest of all this is that you have not heard from me for a few days now and well I don't have much to say other than I sure hope your ready for the greatest event Stampin Up has every year....SALE-A-BRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!      There is only 3 more days.....YEAH

L is for Lollipop

Good Evening All!!!!!!

What a day it has been I have been pretty much lockd in my craft room all day BUT oh all the things that I got accomplished makes me sooooo HAPPY

In less than 1 1/2 weeks I am so excited to be going into my daughters class as always BUT this time when I go in I am doing the craft with the teacher we decided on a particular letter and since U is taken ... making umbrellas, the next letter was L's and well what is better than a Lollipop for L's.

This is what i was able to come up that 5and 6 years old could make in a 20-30 mins time frame.
I practiced it on my daughter and she was able to do it so I figured that it would work...not the fanciest but my daughter was so excited that Daddy, Nanny, Papa and Great Grandma had to see it so I figure if she is impressed 21 other 5 and 6 year olds should be good with it.

Needless to say they are all cut out and ready to be assembled everyone will have some different colours ( was great way to use up some major scraps) that way it will be there own as any regular craft would be.

So anyway it did not take me all day just to that, I had some orders of cards to fill, it nice that I had all these phonecalls out of the blue BUT wow makes for a long day to get them all made and ready when I don't always have enough extras just sitting around or the specific kind ordered.  Then of course because I got my daughter in there to make the lollipop she thought that she should make a few more things and well here I am at 10:50 pm finally getting pictures into the camera and uploading something for you all to see.

Now I am sure many of you out there are thinking whoopie she made lollipops but hey I will try and get something a little more exciting on for you all to see tomorrow.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I have some really exciting news.

A friend and fellow demonstrator and I are going to do our first ever Stamp-a-Stack.!!!!!!!  I know exciting right.

Well the flyer up above will be going out to all my current local customers and we will have it advertised around town and in the papers but any you that are out of town and are in the Southwest Oxford region and would like to come please contact us by phone or email.  We have limited seating at the library so be sure to save your seat quickly.

As I already have mentioned I am so excited about this and the idea of being in a room full of ladies that want to learn or are die hard stamping gurus is just intoxicating...... sure hope some of you can come for a fun afternoon.

HUMMMMM????.....Windowpanes

So it is Tuesday and I feel like it should be Friday....WOW!!!

You would almost think that I had been going all day yesterday BUT in reality all I did was laze around all morning go to the school to be a part of my daughter class....which I so love doing the JK/SK students in her class are just too sweet.  Her teacher as well is such a beautiful person....I hope she gets her again next year :) 

Now about this card IF any of you viewing this card have any suggestions as to what is wrong please do not be afraid to tell me. Friday Mashup #26---Get Well

Today I am so happy to be going into my daughters classroom.  With all the snow days we had in December and then having the two week holidays from school I have not been into the class for over a month.

Now I just heard about this challenge called Friday Mashup you can find it here   http://www.fridaymashup.blogspot.com/  It was #26 on the 7th so I thought why not I'll play along.  So this is my sample.  It also called for adding some bling/glitter, So I added some gems to the center of my flowers. 

I felt that I had not used my Flower Fancy for quite some time and I had been asked to make a get well card for a friend who needed one for a female friend that had a heart attack so this is the one I came up with.

Happy Wedding Day to Me

Happy Saturday to you all!!!!!!!!!

Well 11 years ago today my hubby and I said our vows in front of friends and family and started our lives together as husband and wife.  Now I am not going to say that we are the perfect couple but I will say that I would not change anything, nor would I pick anyone but him.

So as much as I would love to show you the card that I made for him...well having been sick the last few days I have not gotten his made....I know I am bad, and well to make it even worse this card that I am showing you today well guess what?   YEP my sweetie while I was out one day sneeked into my room and made me an Anniversary card, he even decorated the inside (which I am not going to show you).  If you are wondering what the lace bows are on the top well he even made me a pocket and put in three individual coupons.   Now do you see why he could never be replaced...smile.

So here I am the crafty one, the one that love creating cards, and he is the one that this morning wakes up hands over his handcrafted card and got nothing in return ( well a kiss but no card...LOL)

So I hope he was able to inspire you .... he certainly has me in so many ways

I am so sorry that I have not been posting I am getting over a cold and did not feel like stamping.  I have so many ideas going throught my head though that if I do not get in there soon I am afraid my brain just may explode.   Try to get on here tomorrow

A Sad Occassion

Good Afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I went from having 2 children to having 4 children and now back to 2...phew
I had my BF's kids over they are the same ages as my kids and they are all becoming very good friends...each year gets better and better.  My daughter is the youngest by one year and our boys are only 4 months apart so she feels like she is left out more than she really is just the age.  That being said I know my girlfriend will understand when I say am I very happy that I quit at 2 it felt like I had twins and two one year apart and .....no thank-you....smile

Anyways I figured that mommy mad time for her kids to have some play time and now that it is a little quieter here I thought it was time for mommy to have some play time and really not for the best of occassions,  We had a family friend whos son-in-law passed away suddenly so I unfortunately needed to make a sympathy card for his father.  It doesn't matter that this man was approx 50 yrs old no one should have to bury their child, oh and the wife left behind it is awful in every way.

So this card is made with the new set from the Occassion mini Plane & Simple along with the Vintage Garden DSP I also used the caring set form the mini as well that has some wonderful stamps for sympathy
